The Contemporary Music Center is an interdisciplinary program which gives no preference to students in any particular field of study. However, a good academic record is necessary. Students are required to maintain a GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, regardless of major.

CMC is designed for students in their second, third or fourth year of college who can demonstrate ability in either the creative, technical or business aspects of the music industry. All full-time students earning credit toward their degree are eligible. When students from non-CCCU institutions are admitted, an additional $500 transcripting fee is charged. (Not sure whether your school is part of the CCCU? Check out the list here.)
