The Middle East Studies Program (MESP) is an interdisciplinary program with unique course offerings and contexts for students majoring in subjects such as politics, international relations, religion, peace and conflict studies, history, intercultural studies, or anthropology -- or any students with a general interest in the region.
We accept students in good academic standing (with a GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale) from every area of study. Students accepted into the program must be willing to participate in a communal, culturally-appropriate lifestyle and academic setting.
MESP is designed for qualified students in their second, third or fourth year in college. All full-time students earning credit toward their degree are eligible. When students from non-CCCU institutions are admitted, an additional $500 transcripting fee will be charged. (Not sure whether your school is part of the CCCU? Check out the list here.)
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email your MESP Advisor at [email protected] for help.
