"When I wrote my first story, I didn't know it was going to be on the front page of the Washington Times until I bought the paper myself and read my name on it. Even then, I had to check my own ID to make sure that was really me. It was incredible." ~ David Hood, Spring 2012 (Hope International University)
Through Washington Journalism Center internships, students have covered Supreme Court cases and presidential press conferences, edited video/multimedia packages for web stories and every semester wire service interns see their work published in USA Today or the Washington Post.
The Washington Journalism Center offers a variety of exciting internships in web, print, television and wire service newsrooms. The internships below are samples only. New internships open up every year. Multiple seats with differing responsibilities exist in many internships.
