If you've recently been on a BestSemester program, we'd love to give you the opportunity to share your story with others on your home campus! BestSemester coordinates Alumni Ambassadors to help us with recruitment events on your home campus, contacting future BestSemester students, and other various forms of engagement. The Alumni Ambassador position lasts for one academic year, both the fall and spring semesters. We typically have approximately 40 ambassadors for the year, in an effort to engage with as many campuses as possible. A small stipend is offered to Ambassadors for their time. We will soon be accepting applications for the 2018-2019 academic year.
To be an Alumni Ambassador, you must have participated in one of our BestSemester programs, and be a current student on a CCCU campus. These individuals are selected to be an official BestSemester representative on their home campus. Responsibilities include: attending your campus' study abroad fair for the semester, speaking in classes about all BestSemester programs (training provided), promoting BestSemester through social media, and hosting at least one BestSemester event like a pizza party/gathering of some sort (paid for by BestSemester) where you invite students interested in off-campus study to come and learn more.
