The Scholars' Semester in Oxford welcomed its first students on Monday, January 12, 2004. As Visiting Students of Oxford University, the 9 original students are studying theology in connection with Wycliffe Hall, Oxford.

"This endeavor is a new adventure for the CCCU in Oxford and Christian higher education," Dr. Stan Rosenberg, Director of CCCU Oxford Programmes, said.  "We pray and hope that this will be another avenue to transform souls, to shape character, and to influence the academy in a way that is faithful, sound and glorifying to the Lord."

 

 

The inaugural group of scholars recieved their Oxford University Visiting Student Cards, filled out the paperwork to receive their Oxford Univ status, and met with Alister McGrath for their orientation to Wycliffe Hall.
