Kris has taught Professional Screenwriting at the LAFSC for over 10 years. He has extensive writing experience for film and television, ranging from Columbia Pictures, Hallmark and Disney to Nickelodeon, CBS-TV and ABC-TV. In addition to teaching screenwriting at UCLA and numerous seminars, he is co-chair and founding member of the WGA Asian-American Writers Committee, and went with Lew Hunter (holds UCLA Chair in Screenwriting) overseas to teach screenwriting. Kris is a lyricist for film and music and was staff lyricist for Grammy-award winning R&B artists for 5 years. He is co-author of Four Paws From Heaven, a book about dogs and God. Kris is married to Celine and has an elementary-aged son, Sky, who keeps him truly young.
